Setup

In this section, we shall cover the steps required to install AutoOutreach in your server.

Preparation​

Make sure you have done the following:

  • Purchased the script from Codecanyon.
  • Downlaoded the ZIP from Codecanyon.
  • Gathered your License Keys / Purchase Code.
  • Logged in to your server management panel / cPanel.

Installing​

Tip

It is always a good idea to check the downloaded ZIP on your own machine first. Because there can be nested ZIPs.

  • Upload the ZIP to your server.

  • Extract the ZIP. If you are on a cPanel server you should extract in /home/username/ folder.

  • Move the contents of the /public folder to your server's htdocs or public_html folder.

    Tip

    On a cPanel server, extract the folder in /home/username folder. Then move everything from public/ to public_html/

  • Create a MySQL user and database for this installation.

Running the installer​

Warning

It is recommended to install AutoOutreach to the root of a domain (https://autooutreach.example.com/). Installing in directory or folder (https://example.com/autooutreach/) may cause unexpected issues.

  • Visit the URL where you extracted the zip. (https://autotoutreach.example.com)
  • You will be redirected to /installer. If not, please hit the URL manually.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions. Installer Welcome
  • Check if you have everything in the server is configured correctly. If something is showing missing or wrong. Install / configure that extension(s). Check Requirements
  • In Site URL, put your domain name with http or https (whatever you have).
  • In Site Name, put any name you would like to use. (Default is AutoOutreach)
  • In Envato Purchase Code, put the purchase code you have received after your purchase. (Where Is My Purchase Code?) Site Configuration
  • Put the database credentials that you have created earlier.
    • Put the database hostname (default is localhost)
    • Put the database port (default is 3306)
    • Put the database name
    • Put the database username
    • Put the database password Database Configuration
  • Click on Next.
  • Within a few moments, it will show you confirmation of the installation. Installation Complete
  • Now Login with the provided default credentials
